The
Squadron Standard was granted by HM King George VI and promulgated
on 9 September 1943. It was presented by Air Vice-Mashal Sir Geoffrey
Bromet KCB CB DSO RAF (Retd) at Abu Suier on 18 November 1955. A
new Standard was presented by Air Marshal Sir Humphrey Edwards-Jones
KCB CBE DFC AFC BA RAF (Retd) at Lossiemouth on 1 June 1984. The
old Standard was laid up in St Clement Danes Church on 27 October
1985.
